Our therapists - Vanessa

Vanessa is passionate about massage, the human body and how it works. She has had the opportunity to educate the athletes, both amateur and professional, of the best ways to care for their bodies while they recover, as well as in the clinical setting treating clients for pain, recovery from injury, and muscle imbalances. She feels this is her calling in life.

In 2014 Vanessa completed a Diploma in Health Sciences (Therapeutic Massage) with the New Zealand College of Massage.

At the New Zealand Institute of Sport 2013 Sports Exchange Vanessa won a gold medal for her massage skills and work ethics. At that point NZIS have only ever given out four medals for Massage in all of New Zealand. She was also very excited to get the opportunity to massage the Wellington Saints professional basketball team in 2013. In 2014 and 2015 Vanessa worked as part of the massage team at the Christchurch Marathon.

Vanessa has also trained in Manual Lympahtic Drainage and is currently undertaking Bowen Technique training
